Overview
Cincuentañero ("we", "our", "the app") is a private trip-coordination application used by a small, invite-only group of travelers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account info: first and last name, email address, and (optionally) a mobile phone number you provide.
- Trip data: bookings, itinerary participation, chat messages, photos, and reactions you create in the app.
- Device data: push notification subscription tokens (only if you opt in), basic browser/device info needed to deliver the app.
How we use your information
- To coordinate the trip: show itineraries, bookings, attendee lists, and chat to other approved travelers.
- To send web push notifications (only if you have enabled them).
- To send SMS text alerts about trip updates, if you have provided a mobile number and consented to SMS. See our SMS Terms.
- To send transactional email related to your account (password resets, magic links, access approvals).
How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing. Information is only visible to other approved members of your trip group and to the trip host (admin).
We use the following service providers strictly to operate the app: Supabase (data storage and authentication), Lovable Cloud (hosting), Twilio (SMS delivery, if you opt in), and Google Maps (map display). These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Mobile information & SMS
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for any purpose. Information sharing to subcontractors in support of services we provide (e.g., Twilio for message delivery) is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your choices
- SMS: reply STOP to any text to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- Push notifications: disable in your browser/device settings at any time.
- Account deletion: contact the host (below) to remove your account and associated data.
Data retention
We keep your account data while you are an active trip member. Chat, photos, and itinerary records are retained for the duration of the trip and for a reasonable period afterward for reference. You can request deletion at any time.
Security
We use industry-standard hosting (Supabase/Lovable Cloud) with encrypted connections and database-level access controls. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
